Infonary respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content hosted on Infonary infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice. Your notice must include the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
• A description of the material you claim is infringing, along with the URL or other specific location on our site where the material appears
• Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf

DMCA notices should be sent to our designated agent via our contact page with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request.” We aim to review and respond to valid notices promptly — typically within a few business days.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, and telephone number
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Infonary may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original takedown notice

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate access for users and account holders who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Good Faith

Please note that filing a false DMCA claim can result in legal liability. Before submitting a notice, make sure you genuinely hold the copyright to the material in question. If you’re unsure whether your rights have been infringed, we recommend consulting with a legal professional first.
