This was attributed to the fact that her appearance in the Marvel flick was more subdued than any of the roles she has played in the recent past. However, the Canadian superstar did not disappoint, instead showing up at the premiere itself in some spectacular fashion.

McAdams and her PR team were equally quiet in the days leading up to the premiere, instead choosing to go about it in a calm, deliberate manner. The idea is that when you get on the Marvel train, a lot of talk about brands and advertising comes up. She seemingly decided to lay back and let the super heroes of the movie hog all the spotlight. It was stunning as it was effective. By keeping her movements low key, she managed to expand the tent for those who played bigger roles-think along the lines of Benedict Cumberbatch and a few of the more glamorous members of the cast. McAdams also created a silent buzz around her character for the movie, and this will definitely come in huge for the whole cast. Still, it was a surprising strategy for the Canadian, for the obvious reason that you don’t stay on the sidelines especially if you happen to be a superstar who only gets to take part in blockbuster Hollywood releases.

At the premiere, Rachel looked as bit as stunning as we expected-and more. The dress was ultimate Atelier Versace and it sat on her like a second skin. What stood out was the contrast between her skin and the color of the dress, and this gave her the sort of high fashion look Hollywood has been unable to pull off in recent years. Her blond hair was set up in dizzying soft waves and the rush of color only helped to draw attention to a set of well-toned legs that peeked from under the slit.

The next step for Rachel will be to tour the world, promoting Doctor Strange and generally spreading some cheer around the globe. For those wondering whether Rachel McAdams’ boyfriend, Jamie Linden is going to tag along, then the answer is negative. There are no concrete reports out yet but it appears that Linden is knee deep in his own professional engagements.
